IRMO Mike Lindler, 19, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012, in a tragic accident. Born in Lexington, he was the son of Rene' Shelley and Carl Mann Lindler. He attended Dutch Fork High School and was a member of Lexington Baptist Church. Mike was a blessing to all who knew him, and has now been received into the arms of Jesus. He was well known throughout the Irmo area and will be dearly missed by many.
Surviving are his mother of Columbia; father of Chapin; sister, Hannah Marie Lindler of Chapin; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Debbie Gunter of Irmo; great-grandparents, Peggy and Tom Rabern of Columbia; aunt, Anne Dawson; great-aunts, Sandra McCravy (Paul), Joanne Peck (JV Vance), Laura Fennema (Frank); and many cousins and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pets Inc., P.O. Box 6394, West Columbia, SC 29171.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. A private memorial service will be at the home of his maternal grandparents at a later date.
