Miranda H. Jett, 89, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Northern Lakes Nursing Home in Angola. Born in Tuscumbia, AL, Miranda worked as a Executive Secretary with Magnavox for 37 years, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed horses, trailriding, gardening and spending time with friends and family.. Surviving are her daughters, Freda (Ron) Allan of Angola, IN, Marsha (Tim) Lassen of Kernville, CA and Ginny (Pat) Hernicz of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Chris Lassen, Craig Lassen, Kindra Watson and Jake Allan; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Earleen Zinaman, Rebecca Nail, Ruth Thompson, Ann Culberson and Dottie Malone brothers, Denton Hester, Doug Hester, Wayne Hester, Glenn Hester, Tom Hester and Jack Hester; brother in law, Joe Jett . Miranda was preceded in death by husband, Louie F Jett Jr., sister, Martha Killian. Funeral Service is Saturday, 2:00 pm, December 1, 2012 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with calling one hour prior. Rev Max Hester officiating. Calling will also be Friday, November 30, 2012 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery , Fort Wayne, Indiana.
