Mr. Rickie Don Myers, age 53 of Calvert City, Kentucky died on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith.
Born Friday, October 30, 1959 in Paducah, Kentucky, he was self-employed as a scrap metal recycler and was the son of the late Frank Myers and Emma Lou (Dudley) Myers of Calvert City, Kentucky.
Surviving are his mother, two sisters, Janice Meredith, husband David of Benton, KY and Sandra Davis, husband Robert of Calvert City, KY. Niece and nephews; Katelyn Meredith Fulks, husband Lance of Glencoe OK., Stephen Meredith, wife Jennifer of Murfreesboro, TN., Adrian Davis of Calvert City, KY., and Sean-Michael Davis of Calvert City, KY., also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton, Kentucky, with the Josh Herndon officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
