Robert Dale Garry, age 87, of Stockton, CA, passed away on Sunday, 12/16/2012 at Stockton, CA. He was born on 10/9/1925 in SD to his parents, Joseph and Wilma Garry.
Robert was the fourth of eight children. He married Elide in San Francisco CA in 1945. They had Three children. He served in the Navy for three years and was a veteran of World War 2. He was a long-time resident of Stockton CA for 60 years. He was employed by KPF Electric as a CEO for 47 years. Robert was a member of St. Bernadettes, and the Look who's talking Larengectomy support group. He enjoyed Fishing,working with his hands and speaking at schools and institutions on the dangers of smoking.
Robert will be remembered by his loving wife and their children: Noreen, Timothy and Dayle. He is also survived by two brothers and eight grandsons. Predeceased in death by his parents three sisters, two brothers and twin grandsons.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral for Robert at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, 12/20/2012 at St. Bernadettes Catholic Church 2455 Country Club Blvd Stockton CA. Interment will follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Roberts name to American Cancer Society.
