Roosevelt "Rosy" Takesian, 82, passed away at home Monday, November 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jeanette Saladino Takesian, daughters Yolanda Takesian, Paulette Miguel, her sons Joseph and Thomas; Jane Cheetham, husband Paul and their sons Marc and Christopher; son, Tom Takesian, his wife Amy, and children Barrett and daughter Abby.

He was a 47-year employee of the C&P Telephone company and AT&T.

Viewing will be at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg on Friday, November 9 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg on Saturday, November 10 at 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rosy's name to either Jamestown Rediscovery or The Order of The White Jackets at the College of Willam & Mary, Alumni House.
