Roscoe L. Coss, 75, of Clermont passed away January 9, 2013 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares. He was born in Cherokee, OK and moved to the area in 1987 from Utah. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years as a Master Sergeant having served in Vietnam, Okinawa, Kansas, South Carolina, Aviano, Italy and Utah. He was Baptist by faith and attended Green Pond Baptist Church. He was a former member of Pirates Square Dance Club, Orlando Singles Square Dance, Ogden Singles Square Dance and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, leather work, photography, travelling, country music and square dancing.
Roscoe was predeceased by his first wife, Nancy Linda, his second wife, Willie Faye and his Grandson, James. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Corino Coss of Clermont, FL; children: Rick Coss of Groveland, FL; J.C. (Jackie) Coss of Pleasant View, UT; David Coss of Ocoee, FL; Linda Coss Pettit of Magna, UT; step-children: Dorrie (Dan) Lussier of Cape Coral, FL; James (Beth) Herbert of Eden, NY; Heather (Shane) Malesky of Orlando, FL; Douglas Hammon of Sebring, FL; Lisa (Robbie) NcNew of Sebring, FL; Brenda Lowe of Groveland, FL; Shelia (Garth) Houston of Clermont, FL; Beverly (Dan) Morton of Valdese, NC; 6 Grandchildren: Naymond, Brian, Adam, Krystal, Jessica and D.R.; 7 Great Grandchildren; 16 Step Grandchildren and 4 Step Great Grandchildren, his brother: Larry Coss of Ft. Wayne, IN, and several cousins and extended family members.
