A resident of Maurepas, she died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Ochsner of Baton Rouge. She was 72. She is survived by her husband of thirty four years, William R. Harris, three sons; Jay Gulledge and wife Dana, Stephen Gulledge and Mark Gulledge, three step-sons; Billy Harris, Clay Harris and wife Sharon and Doug Harris, eight grandchildren; Erica Bercegeay, Monica Larousse, Trey Ruffini, Stephanie DeBarbieris, Shelby Gulledge, Matthew Harris, Katie Leigh Harris, Nicholas Harris and numerous great grandchildren and brother Charles Whitaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Kay and Jean. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice.
