Russell was born on July 20, 1939 and passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012.

Russell was a resident of Old Saybrook, Connecticut at the time of passing.

Russell attended the Sprague School in Waterbury and then graduated from Crosby High School in Waterbury. He continued his education at the Cheshire Academy first, the graduated from UCONN.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served over 25 years retiring from the U.S. Army as Lt. Colonel.

Russell was married to Cindy.

Driving Directions. Family and friends may gather at the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 10am for a memorial service. Military honors will be held at the funeral home followed by burial at Cypress Cemetery in Old Saybrook.
