Thelma Marie Glenn, 95, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home.
Born September 16, 1917 in Lawrence County, daughter of Stephen Isaac and Gracie Pearl Preston Dobbs. She lived several years in Jonesboro where she worked at General Electric and was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ.
She was united in marriage to Roy E. Glenn April 27, 1946 who preceded her in death May 22, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Gracie Dobbs, infant twin sister, Zelma Lee Dobbs and a sister, Lois Scaggs.
Survivors include a daughter, Julia (James) Lansford of Jonesboro; two sons, Danny (Joyce) Glenn of Jonesboro and Donny (Nancy) Glenn of Atlanta, Georgia; a sister, Vivian Bridges of Rockford, Illinois; six grandchildren, Jonathan Lansford, Stacy (Andy) Blackston, Dr. Cory (Amanda) Glenn, Dr. Stephanie (Dr. Troy) Robertson, Ryan (Sara) Glenn, Jeffrey Glenn; six great-grandchildren, Drew Blackston, Reese Blackston, Allie Glenn, Audrey Glenn, Emery Glenn and Camden Glenn and many other relatives and friends.
