Thomas R. Cannella, 88, of Temple Terrace, went to heaven Jan. 16, 2013 with his loved ones by his side. He was born Apr. 14, 1924 in Santo Stefano, Sicily, Italy, and came to the United States as a child. He was a WWII Veteran - Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benardo Cannella and Maria G. Leto Barone, and brother Vincent Cannella. He is survived by his beloved family who all adored him: wife of 60 yrs., Mary Greco Cannella; daughter, Rosemarie C. Brenneman (David); sons, Thomas B. Cannella and Robert A. Cannella; grandchildren, Erinn Vila (Rick), Ryan Brenneman, Roberto Cannella; great-grandsons Ricky and Sam Vila; sister-in-law, Domenica Accomando; nephews, Frank and John Accomando; his extended family and friends in Tampa and many more beloved family members in Santo Stefano.

A Memorial Service will be held later on Tom's birthday, Sunday, Apr., 14th, 2013 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Terrace Oaks Chapel. Family visitation will be at 3:00, and the service will begin at 4:00. Please reserve the date to join us for a celebration of his life.
