Vivian Carol Gibson Packer, age 71, of Bladenboro passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Bladen County on September 13, 1941 to the late Rushian James and Mildred Tatum Davis Gibson.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Joseph Packer; two sons, Charles Thomas Shaw and Billy Ray Shaw both of the home; two daughters, Tammy Pait; Vickie Cashwell of Whiteville; two brothers, Ronnie Gibson of Clarkton and Michael Gibson of WA; two sisters, Carolyn Wilson of Morrisville and Debra Gibson of Bladenboro; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2012 from 2:00 until 2:45 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at the |Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby McVicker and Rev. Kay Meismer officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in White Oak.
